Description: Widya Erti Indonesia together with Millennium Challenge Account Indonesia (MCAI), Castlerock Consulting, and PT Anekatek collaborated on programs related to mentoring, establishing and strengthening BUMDES in 5 villages in East Sumba for the management of solar power grids developed by PT Anekatek-Castlerock under the MCAI project. In addition, this program was also initiated to create economic opportunities for the community, with electricity in the village as well as developing SOPs for established institutions. The activities carried out to achieve this goal are community assistance and village institutions for the management of the Solar Power Grid developed by PT Anekatek-Castlerock through the MCAI project. The impact of this program includes the establishment of BUMDES in 5 villages in East Sumba as well as involvement in the management and maintenance of the Surya power grid in 5 villages in East Sumba after the project; the emergence of the cake processing industry in the villages of Lailungi and Tawui as well as packaged organic fertilizer products.
